The hazard buoy from Needle Point went missing this week and had to be replaced by the Sheriff's Department.
Needle Point is a peninsula that juts out into South Center lake on the westernmost shore. As we have learned in the past, buoys remain expensive to replace, as well as time-consuming for law enforcement.
